Event Description:
Join us to learn about the practical opportunities and challenges inbound foreign direct investment from China presents for local communities and business partners, and for Chinese investors themselves. Panelists will comment on the U.S. business environment from the perspective of Chinese-invested companies based in the U.S., and discuss trends in Chinese investment, as well as opportunities foreign investment offers the Greater Kansas City region. The panel will also showcase new research on how well Chinese firms adapt to the U.S. legal environment, shedding light on how Chinese investors impact and are impacted by local economies and market practice.
