Event Description:

Join 1,900 area business leaders and legislators at the region’s premier business event. The KC Chamber’s Annual Dinner is the largest and single most anticipated event encompassing businesses, education and community organizations across the metropolitan area.

The evening's keynote presenter will be Mr. Nate Silver, founder of FiveThirtyEight.com, and author of The Signal and The Noise.

Nate is a leading statistician and a pioneer of the new field of data journalism with his award-winning website FiveThirtyEight. Now in partnership with ABC News, FiveThirtyEight allows Nate to explore a wide range of areas including politics, sports, science, and more.

The highlight of the evening is the presentation of the Kansas Citian of the Year Award. Past recipients include Robert Regnier, Tom Watson, James and Virginia Stowers, Thomas McDonnell, Shirley and Barnett Helzberg, The Rev. Emanuel Cleaver, R.
