A panel discussion on the current housing issues facing the Kansas City metropolitan region to define the housing problem; answer the questions: how we got to this point, who is most adversely affected, and how it affects everyone; and identify current challenges and opportunities regarding affordable/attainable/workforce housing.
Topics will include defining affordable housing versus attainable housing versus workforce housing; strategies for stabilizing suburban neighborhoods through workforce housing; and increasing economic prosperity for workers and communities.
