The Community Blood Center needs your help. As regions begin to reopen and hospitals anticipate the return of elective surgeries, the CBC has issued an urgent call for donors. The need for blood has rebounded to pre-COVID-19 levels, but the blood supply is dangerously low. In order to maintain a safe blood supply, a seven-day inventory of all blood types must be continually replenished. Right now, reserves are far below that minimum
The KC Chamber is proud to partner with the CBC, Union Station, KCADC & the Civic Council to co-host a three-day community blood drive in our Chamber Board Room May 27 ? May 29, from 10 am ? 4pm. Appointments are required and walk-ins will not be accepted. Donors can register for a time slot over the three days at the links below, or call 1-877-468-6844.

The CBC is taking steps to reduce the spread of COVID-19 during this blood drive. Donors must wear masks to their appointments. Staff will check temperatures at the door and social distancing protocols will remain in place to keep donors, staff, and volunteers safe. If you feel sick before your appointment, please don?t go.
