Event Description:

Our three day Part 107 course is designed to prepare professionals for the written FAA exam. 14 CFR Part 107 is the new FAA Regulation governing commercial Small Unmanned Aircraft Systems, or sUAS. This new requirement requires Remote Pilot in Command (RPIC) operators to take an FAA written exam if they do not hold a manned pilot certificate.

Upon completion of the sUAS Commercial Remote Pilot Training participants will be prepared to complete the FAA written exam to receive a Remote Pilot in Command (RPIC) certificate from the FAA. Attendees will be able to:

  • Adhere to FAA rules and regulations pertinent to small unmanned aircraft operations
  • Complete the FAA written examination
  • Set up small unmanned aircraft operations within FAA regulations
  • Apply safety practices during flight of small unmanned aircraft
