Event Description:
Incentivizing real estate development throughout our region is a timely and confusing discussion. The development tools that are used to incent real estate projects are complicated. The KC Chamber Real Estate Policy Committee has gathered experts from several stakeholder groups to help demystify the economic development incentive tools that are used on both sides of the state line.
This event will not be a debate. It will instead be a judgement-free learning zone to help equip citizens, elected officials, and business leaders to engage knowledgeably on this important topic.
Curt Petersen and Roxsen Koch of Polsinelli will provide a brief overview of the major incentive programs available to local projects in both Kansas and Missouri, which will be followed by a panel discussion featuring:
