This event is open to Fall Start Centurions Only.

A homeless person is an individual without permanent housing who may live on the streets; stay in a shelter, mission, single room occupancy facilities, abandoned building or vehicle; or in any other unstable or non-permanent situation. [Section 330 of the Public Health Service Act (42 U.S.C., 254b)].  How does that differ from transient or the hidden homeless? What is homelessness? How does it impact our city, and what are we doing about it?  Join us for our third Issues Up Close discussing homelessness as it relates to Kansas City.  Our panelists from CommunityLINC and the Greater Kansas City Coalition to End Homelessness will help us further explore this topic and understand the importance of the Centurions’ 2019 legacy project.
