This event is open to Fall Start Centurions only.
Now that the region is positioned to reopen, how do we move forward? Much has been publicized about the response to the Covid-19 pandemic but how do we respond to and move on from the effects of the shutdown? David Warm from the Mid-America Regional Council and Tim Cowden from the KC Area Development Council will discuss how the region is positioning itself on both the public planning and economic fronts to recover from the time spent in lockdown. Rather than discuss the disease itself, we'll focus on how municipalities and the region are creating policies to successfully navigate a problem with no existing blueprint.
