genKC's Banter and Decanter
Hosted in conjunction with Young Friends of the Arts (YFA), Banter & Decanter is back by popular demand! genKC's competitive wine tasting competition for early career professionals will be hosted on August 5th during First Fridays at the Nelson-Atkins Museum.
Here's how it works:
- Gather a team of 6 people
- Drop off six bottles of red wine at the Nelson-Atkins Museum a few days before the event (more details to come)
- Taste a variety of wines and vote for your favorites
- The winning teams will be divvying up dozens of bottles of wine as their prize!
Wine tastings will be accompanied by light appetizers. Cheers, and we look forward to seeing you there!
Our co-host for the evening is the Young Friends of Art (YFA) from the Nelson-Atkins. The Young Friends of Art (YFA) program seeks to cultivate the next generation of art enthusiasts and museum donors by engaging in the thriving Kansas City artistic community. Established as the longest running young professionals’ group in Kansas City, this program allows 21-35 year-olds to make a philanthropic impact on the arts through events, artistic experiences, and networking.
