Event Description:

genKC invites you to attend the 7th Annual Grow to genKC: Why Kansas City is a Keeper! Join us as Chris Long, Co-Owner of the Kansas City Current, stops by to discuss the Current’s recent investment in the Kansas City community, where he sees Kansas City headed in the future and how sports play an integral role in the growth and development of a city. Following the sit down with Chris Long, hear from a panel of current genKC Board Members on opportunities to and the importance of getting involved within your community. The genKC panel will take questions from the audience and talk through how location can impact the start of a career and how Kansas City might just be the place for you to Live, Work & Thrive!

After the event, walk with us to the Power & Light District for a networking happy hour. Enjoy a drink and light appetizers on us and get to know other early career professionals and interns.

Space is limited, early registration encouraged.
