Event Description:
Come out and learn about our partner in the military-support community, Horses & Heroes, and support our organizational programs that help transitioning military!
* meet some of the horses and people of Horses & Heroes who deliver a unique program that helps first responders and military personnel having challenges reintegrating after service
* learn about KC AUSA’s new Young Professionals Transition Pilot Course, set to launch in Fall 2017
* Site-visit will be a walking tour. Wear shoes suitable for walking around a farm and pastures.
** those bringing children, be aware there are large and mini-horses, an unfenced pond, and open spaces.
* Food (i.e. chips, hot dogs, chili) and water is provided. BYOB or other drinks, as you wish.
