Meet Your Army
DO YOU KNOW THAT…
Kansas City is the home of an Army Recruiting Battalion where the Army Recruiters and Command Teams are all active duty Soldiers.
There is a Kansas City District Command for the US Army Corps of Engineers and many of the assigned personnel are civilians.
Nearly 40% of newly commissioned Army officers are graduates of an ROTC program and all Professors of Military Science are active duty Soldiers.

This month launches KC AUSA's new program series: “Meet Your Army."
It is a panel program and networking event that introduces you to various units that reside or operate in the KC Metro, conducting missions and activities that support national and regional objectives for our Army.
Panel participants will be the following:
LTC Kathleen Moffatt, Commander of the KC Army Recruiting Battalion
LTC Brent Legreid, Deputy Commander of the Kansas City District of the US Army Corp of Engineers
LTC Zachary Kerns, Professor of Military Science for the Pony Express Army ROTC Battalion (comprised of cadets from Avila, Benedictine, Park, NW Missouri State, Missouri Western State, UMKC, Rockhurst, William Jewell, and Calvary Bible College)
