About
Bar K is a unique and joyful community meeting place for people and dogs in Kansas City. It combines a state-of-the-art fully staffed dog park with a bar, restaurant, and coffeehouse where guests can enjoy a drink or a bite to eat. Bar K is located at the western edge of the beautiful Berkley Riverfront in downtown Kansas City.
Years ago, Leib Dodell and Dave Hensley began dreaming of a place where people and their dogs could co-exist in a fun, entertaining and creative environment. More than just a dog park, it would be an entire pet-friendly community that offered a great food and beverage experience, embraced socially responsible and sustainable business practices, and provided a one-of-a-kind experience for Kansas Citians and their dogs. From this vision, Bar K was born.

These new events are open to ALL members and are purposefully designed to be smaller. Therefore, we hope they will be personal and impactful for attendees. Our goal is to make personal connections for everyone that attends.
