Please join us on Monday, October 2, 2017, for a VIP party and exclusive advanced screening of the film, based on the book with the same title, Same Kind of Different As Me.

Festivities begin with a cocktail reception at 5:30 p.m. at AMC’s world headquarters, 11500 Ash Street in Leawood where you will have the opportunity to meet Ron Hall, author of “Same Kind of Different As Me” on which the movie is based.
We’ll then stroll (or drive, if you prefer) over to the AMC Town Center 20 theatre to watch the exclusive advance screening at 7 p.m. The event is expected to conclude at 9 p.m.
The money raised through this event will be going to the 501c3 not for profit Taking it to the Streets. This charity aids the city’s homeless as well as first responders.
