This event is open only to Spring Start Centurions.
Education is considered a stepping stone to increased opportunities, positive life outcomes and the prospects for intergenerational mobility. This task force will explore the different types of educational opportunities that are available throughout the greater Kansas City (public/private/charter/etc.) region and identify the barriers some families must overcome to access quality education. There are multiple pathways and options available to our Kansas City students from Pre-K to graduate opportunities and beyond. We'll also explore how the Kansas City community is innovating to prepare and support teachers, students and employers for the 21st century economy (educational entrepreneurship/mentorship/etc).
