Event Description:

We all hear giving back is important for business. In 2019 Forbes magazine stated that 81% of millennials want to support brands with corporate citizenship. This can lead to increased brand loyalty.

Terminology such as ‘corporate social responsibility’, ‘philanthropy’, and ‘civic engagement’ seem familiar to all, but how do you apply them to your daily operations? Where do you get started when you want your business to become more involved in your community? How do you find time and resources if you don’t have a dedicated staff person to manage this work? How does bottom line and business strategy affect community engagement?

You will hear answers to these questions, a robust discussion, and will have a chance to network with our fantastic panel of Greater Kansas City leaders known for their commitment to the civic community.
