Event Description:

For more than four decades, The Doobie Brothers have been known for delivering mind-blowing, roots-based, harmony-laden, guitar-driven rock and roll—all of which recently culminated in a nomination for the 2020 Rock & Roll Hall of Fame. Beginning with their multi-million-selling sophomore collection Toulouse Street, the Doobies have 3 multi-platinum, 7 platinum, and 14 Gold albums. Best of the Doobies has sold more than 12 million copies – a rare “diamond record.” Boasting one of the most loyal fan bases in music and winning four GRAMMY® Awards, The Doobie Brothers continue to write and record new material and tour the world, including a night under the stars at Starlight in 2020 on Tuesday, September 14, 2021 as part of The Doobie Brothers 50th Anniversary Tour.

Joining The Doobie Brothers on tour is New Orleans-based Dirty Dozen Brass Band. Celebrating more than 40 years since their founding in 1977, Dirty Dozen Brass Band has taken the traditional foundation of brass band music and incorporated it into a blend of genres including Bebop Jazz, Funk and R&B/Soul. This unique sound has allowed the Dirty Dozen to tour across 5 continents and more than 30 countries, record 12 studio albums and collaborate with a range of artists. Forty-plus years later, the Dirty Dozen Brass Band is a world famous music machine whose name is synonymous with genre-bending romps and high-octane performances.
