The gala event was held at The National World War I Museum and Memorial in Kansas City, Missouri, with award-winning correspondent and talk show host Steve Kraske serving as Master of Ceremonies.
The honorees were selected by a distinguished panel of four judges, including:
- Holly Black-Irvine, AIA, AIA Kansas City Board of Directors, and Integrated Solutions Director and Project Manager, Scott Rice Office Works;
- Ray Buyle, M.S., Department Head and Associate Professor, Department of Architectural Engineering and Construction Science, Kansas State University;
- James Otter, M.S., Professor/Chair, School of Construction, Pittsburg State University;
- Aaron Sauer, Ph.D., Assistant Professor, Department of Technology and Construction Management, Missouri State University;
