John E. Branham, P.E., CEO, Branco Enterprises, Inc., is 2017-2018 President of the Kansas City Chapter, AGC. Don Greenwell is Executive Director of the Kansas City Chapter, which was chartered in 1934 and currently represents 118 member companies.

The gala event was held at The National World War I Museum and Memorial in Kansas City, Missouri, with award-winning correspondent and talk show host Steve Kraske serving as Master of Ceremonies.

The honorees were selected by a distinguished panel of four judges, including:
  • Holly Black-Irvine, AIA, AIA Kansas City Board of Directors, and Integrated Solutions Director and Project Manager, Scott Rice Office Works;
  • Ray Buyle, M.S., Department Head and Associate Professor, Department of Architectural Engineering and Construction Science, Kansas State University;
  • James Otter, M.S., Professor/Chair, School of Construction, Pittsburg State University;
  • Aaron Sauer, Ph.D., Assistant Professor, Department of Technology and Construction Management, Missouri State University;
