KC Restoration receives KSBDC honor at the Kansas State Legislature
The Kansas House of Representatives and Senate honored KC Restoration, LLC and 16 other small businesses across the state as the Kansas Small Business Development Center’s 2018 Businesses of the Year.
Senate Resolution 1776 and House Resolution 6051 recognized Existing, Emerging, and Exporting Businesses selected by each of the eight Kansas SBDC regional centers. The businesses were selected from more than 2,400 businesses that receive one-on-one business advising services through the SBDC, a statewide advising, consulting, and training service for small business owners. Recipients “have achieved major accomplishments, overcome significant obstacles, shown growth and positive economic impact, which is based on a record of profitability and the Kansas SBDC Economic Impact Tracking spreadsheet, and demonstrated good corporate citizenship through community contributions.”
Kansas SBDC State Director, Greg Panichello shared that “our goal is to highlight both the impact of small business in our Kansas communities and the impact of our work with these same businesses.” Since 1983, they have provided a growing range of services from strategic business planning to financial analysis, market research, cybersecurity advising, technology commercialization, and exporting/international business advising. KC Restoration is proud to be an active participant in the Kansas SBDC at JCCC’s GAME program (Growth through Action Measurement and Engagement) which supports clients through one-on-one advising, peer support, and advice from industry experts in weekly sessions and workshops.
