Mayor Sly James Welcomes Spring Venture Group to Downtown Kansas City
This new headquarters will house more than 500 company associates under one roof. The company plans to create more than 1,000 new full-time jobs over the next six years. The 130,000-sq. ft. complex includes seven floors and a variety of amenities. It lies within the city's downtown core, which has become a vibrant, creative environment for everyone who lives and works here.
“More jobs are being created with companies like Spring Venture Group coming here and building and hiring people to work,” Mayor James said. “This testifies to the value of working together for a common goal. We still have a lot of work to do, but we are seeing the fruits of that labor coming to the fore right now.”

Design features of 12 Wyandotte Plaza include:
- More than 130,000 square feet of office space
- 705 work stations
- 82 offices
- 52 conference rooms of various shapes and sizes.
- An open floor plan that puts managers with their teams, and a special workstation design that fosters interaction and teamwork.
- Associate amenities including covered parking, a fitness facility, dry cleaning services and dining options.
The company began construction on its new headquarters in September 2017.
Rau Construction served as general contractor, and Clockwork Architecture designed the structure and inside spaces; both are based in Kansas City.
