Sun Solar Recognized as a 2018 Top Solar contractor

Olathe, KS—More than 10,600 megawatts of solar power were installed last year in the United States, and local installer, Sun Solar, has been recognized by Solar Power World magazine for its contributions to the industry. Sun Solar achieved a rank of 135 out of 450 U.S. solar companies on the magazine's 2018 Top Solar Contractors list – coming in as the #1 residential solar installer for Missouri for the fifth year in a row.

The Top Solar Contractors list is developed by Solar Power World to recognize the work completed by solar contractors across the United States. Produced annually, the Top Solar Contractors list celebrates the achievements of U.S. solar developers, subcontractors and installers within the utility, commercial and residential markets, and ranks contractors by kilowatts installed in the previous year. The 2018 list was released on July 24.
 
Sun Solar has more than 100 employees, 17% of whom are Military Veterans, who installed 6,705 KW of solar power in 2017; more than double than what the next 3 largest solar companies installed combined.

Eugene Han, previously in-house counsel for a Fortune 400 publicly traded company, will be joining Sun Solar as the General Counsel and Vice President of Commercial Division. Mr. Han is an attorney with 17-years of experience in transaction, corporate and intellectual property law and will join Sun Solar in mid-August.
