This event is for Centurions Actives and Alumni only.
Lakeside Nature Center serves the public as both an educational and recreational resource. Most importantly, it serves as one of Missouri’s largest wildlife rehabilitation facilities. Join your fellow Centurions at this award-winning facility to learn more about the ways Lakeside Nature Center serves and protects wildlife. We’ll also hear first hand about issues facing wildlife today in Kansas City and ways you can help. We’ll also visit with some of the 60 animals including bald eagles and other birds of prey, mammals, reptiles, amphibians and fish.
