CornerStone Financial Program for Emerging Adults
The CornerStone Financial Program (CFP) is a competitive intensive 5-week program taught as a three-part series that will provide some of the essential tools to help you achieve long-term financial success. You will have the opportunity to accomplish several milestones and receive one-on-one financial coaching. This unique program is designed specifically for emerging adults who are eager to gain financial independence and make smart money decisions. This in-person program will take place on Tuesdays starting on Mar 05 2024 at the Kauffman Foundation Conference Center.
Participants that are accepted into the program will be eligible to receive a $500 ROTH IRA contribution.
Program Requirements:
- You must be 18-39 years old. (Exceptions may be granted for applicants with prior involvement with CornerStone programs of its partner affiliates.)
- Commitment to attend training for all 5-weeks that includes (4) 2-hour courses and complete required assignments.
- Attend (2) financial coaching sessions.
- You must have established earnings through gainful employment or self-employment.
- Individual Gross Taxable Income of less than $70,000 annually.
- Desire and ability to implement a financial plan through disciplined actions that include saving and managing debt.
