Conversation with Jamaica Craft
Dance architect and choreography legend, Jamaica Craft, is a multi-talented creative genius whose talents and skills reach far beyond the dance floor. She is the choreographer behind today’s hottest TV shows and franchises, including Lovecraft Country, EMPIRE, P-Valley, Step Up, and The Boss. She is a 20-year entertainment veteran born and raised in Kansas City, MO, and self-taught dancer. After dancing for MC Hammer during her senior year in high school, she is the creative director and visionary behind the images of artists like Ciara, Neyo, Usher, and Justin Bieber. Jamaica’s latest endeavor – Jam Session Entertainment – is a boutique creative experience that develops artists by helping them maximize their natural talents. Along with artist branding, the entrepreneur is also developing a fine fragrance candle line and plans to expand her love for the creative into home décor and design.
