Laurie Minard earned her bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of Kansas and has more than 29 years of experience in Human Resources. She began her career at Garmin in 1996, when she was hired to develop the Human Resources department from the ground up. She is currently the Vice President, Human Resources and responsible for providing leadership and strategic direction for Garmin’s HR policies and programs. Since 1999, Laurie has served on the Executive Board for the Employment Practices Network of Kansas City. In 2015, she joined the KANSASWORKS State Board, as well as the KANSASWORKS State Board Workforce Alignment Committee. In 2021 she became part of the Greater Kansas City Chamber of Commerce Board.
Laurie was honored to be recognized by the Olathe Chamber of Commerce as Volunteer of the Year in 2007 and as Citizen of the Year in 2012. She an alum of the Kansas City Business Journal’s, Class of 2008, Women Who Mean Business and the 2010 Leadership Olathe program. In 2017 she was recognized as an Established Leader, by Techweek Kansas City. In 2022 the Olathe Public Schools Alumni Association welcomed Laurie to the Wall of Honor that recognizes lifetime achievements of Olathe School District Alums.
Haley Prophet is a Wellbeing Consultant, Facilitator and Strategist. With nearly 20 years of experience in corporate wellbeing, Haley brings a multi-dimensional approach and authentic presence to her strategies for fostering an atmosphere in which individuals, organizations, and community relationships can thrive. With a motto of "live well to thrive", Haley focuses on a creative approach for evaluating and implementing well-rounded, multi-dimensional, whole-person wellbeing opportunities through intentional planning and alignment with both company and program goals and values. Haley emphasizes the notion that energy management is where we all can build and practice resilience while prioritizing wellbeing, leading to happier, healthier, and more productive workplaces and communities. In addition to starting her own consultancy, Haley is also a speaker, presenter, and facilitator who has received multiple awards and recognitions over the years for her work within the wellbeing industry.
