Event Description:
The Greater Kansas City Chamber of Commerce's Centurions Leadership Program is a two-year program focused on building community awareness through civic opportunities and on community issues that affect Greater Kansas City. The mission is to prepare a representative cross-section of the community's emerging leaders for their role in shaping the future of Greater Kansas City.

The Centurions Leadership Program understands how essential diversity is to the sustainability and growth of our program. We also understand the Centurions experience is different for people of color and those who identify as diverse. We often discuss these experiences amongst one another, but we believe it is time to start open dialogue on a larger scale.

The Centurions Apex Recruiting Committee is excited to offer an informational session focused on diversity within the program - what we have overcome, where we are, and what work still needs to be done - and how Centurions can help build equity within Kansas City. There will also be conversation about financial opportunities aimed at ensuring the program is available to everyone. While this event will focus on the experience of diverse participants, all are welcome to join.
