Event Description:
The DEI Committee is excited to offer a much requested program on person-centered language. Fellow Centurion, Kandace Buckner, and her colleague, Melissa Noland, will lead this conversation for our cohort. This program will enhance Centurions awareness of how language both describes and designs our reality. Person-centered language is language that puts people first. Using person-centered language is about respecting the dignity, worth, unique qualities and strengths of every individual.
