Author Talk & Fireside Chat with Farzana Nayani, Author & DEI Consultant

Join us for an in-person conversation with Farzana Nayani, author of the new book The Power of Employee Resource Groups: How People Create Authentic Change. Farzana will share vivid examples from her work with corporations and institutions across the country, about how to operate ERGs effectively and how to best engage people in the workplace. We will receive a preview from her new book, which includes models for how to form and develop ERGs and create transformational change in the work we do. Her perspectives bring forth an intersectional lens, centering on uplifting the voices and issues of individuals and groups that are often underrepresented, as well as how to reinvigorate DEI efforts in periods of uncertainty and tragedy that we are facing in society. After the presentation, we will have a fireside chat for Q&A with the audience moderated by Michael Gonzales, DE&I Consultant and Co-Founder of the National DE&I Consortium, as well as a book signing for all attendees.
