Join us for a Leadership Up close with the team from the Golden Scoop!
The Golden Scoop is the only non-profit ice cream and coffeeshop in the KC Metro. Its mission is to provide meaningful employment for people with developmental disabilities, to foster an environment where employees are mentored, inspired, and equipped to succeed in their jobs and their lives and to offer amazing made-from-scratch products.
Amber Schreiber, President and CEO, and Lindsay Krumbholz, Vice President, Director of Employment & Volunteer Management, will share their story of how and why they started the Golden Scoop and challenges they have faced in the process. We will also be joined by a few special guests, current staff from The Golden Scoop, who will share about their experiences working for and with The Golden Scoop team.
