Event Description:
Briefing & Presentation on the Future for Kansas City Public School District
The Kansas City Public School District may have just celebrated a return to full state accreditation. But they are not stopping there!
The Greater Kansas City Chamber of Commerce and Kansas City Area Development Council invite you, as a community champion and regional thought leader, to join us March 1, 3:30-5 p.m. for a special briefing by Superintendent Dr. Mark Bedell and a dialogue exploring the KCPS Blueprint 2030 goals and strategies for the next eight years.
This session will provide a great opportunity for area business leaders to see what lies ahead for the District and share feedback and recommendations with KCPS leaders. The District wants to hear what business leaders really like, and what they’d recommend KCPS add, drop or revise.
In-person attendance is available with a virtual option; please indicate your choice when registering. With COVID variants circulating and out of an abundance of caution, the KC Chamber offers many of our events in a virtual/hybrid format. For events where in person attendance is available, masks will be required, and in-person attendance encouraged at those events only if vaccinated.
