Don’t miss the POWER of Diversity Breakfast -- the region’s premier celebration of the Metro’s culturally diverse business community, recognizing diverse workforce members, corporations, and organizations that have demonstrated a commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion.
 
Join the KC Chamber as we present Ace Awards to mid-to-senior level diverse workforce members and Champion of Diversity Awards to a business and nonprofit organization that epitomize Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion in their workforce, internal best practices, and community engagement.
 
This year we also celebrate Welcoming KC and recognize the contributions of immigrants and refugees as we prepare to become Certified Welcoming. This is a designation from Welcoming America recognizing Kansas City as an open and welcoming community, particularly to immigrants and refugees.

Our keynote will be delivered by Suzanne Hogan, senior producer for KCUR Studios, the podcast wing of KCUR 89.3 FM, Kansas City’s NPR affiliate. She is currently the creator and host of the podcast “A People’s History of Kansas City,” a show that shines a spotlight on overlooked everyday heroes and visionaries.
