This summer will be different than previous summers in our lifetime. Pools are closed. Camps are closed. Offices and other workplaces are still closed. But your library card can help you and your family get through. From summer reading to the digital branch to online professional development and so much more, the Kansas City Public Library has free tools for everyone.

Join us Tuesday June 2 at 1 pm as Library representatives guide you through:
  • Resources for small business and entrepreneurs
  • Story times and other activities for children
  • The Missouri Valley Special Collections
  • How to access library holds
The Kansas City Public Library system consists of a central library, nine physical branches, a digital branch, and an outreach services program serving a constituency of over 250,000 in Kansas City, Missouri. In addition to providing library services to residents, the Library also serves as a resource for the 1.7 million metropolitan residents of greater Kansas City. The Library was named a 5-Star Library by Library Journal in 2016, 2017, 2018, and 2019 – making it the only library in Missouri to receive the distinction.
