Camp Fire Heartland Names New Executive Director Erin Vincent

Camp Fire Heartland is thrilled to announce the appointment of its new Executive Director, Erin Vincent. Erin will lead the 105-year-old Kansas City youth development organization in daily operations, management, human resources, and financial planning.

Erin is a results-oriented nonprofit leader who is passionate about Youth Development. She has developed and lead over 30 youth programs, specifically focused on leadership development, literacy, and college and career readiness throughout the state of  Missouri. Erin works diligently to ensure that youth are exposed to meaningful programming opportunities that will prepare them to be successful in life.

Prior to her appointment, she worked with Camp Fire National Headquarters as the Manager of Strategic Implementation overseeing the execution of its five-year business plan. Erin has also served in other nonprofit leadership roles in which she has lead high performing teams, formed strategic partnerships with community stakeholders replicated evidence-based programs, and consistently exceeded key performance indicators.
 

Erin holds her bachelor, masters, and graduate certifications from the University of Missouri-Columbia in Sociology (B.A.), Education (M.Ed.), Public Affairs (Graduate Cert), and Youth Program Management & Evaluation (Graduate Cert).   Erin currently serves on the Board of Directors for Lee A. Tolbert Community Academy School District, is a member of Central Exchange, and is a proud member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc.
