About Kansas City Urban Youth Academy
The Kansas City MLB Urban Youth Academy is a non-profit organization with the mission to empower Kansas City's underserved youth ages 6-18 through baseball and softball, academic and social opportunities to be the leaders of tomorrow. The vision for the Academy is to become the epicenter for youth baseball and softball throughout the Midwest, beginning with the urban community and its location in the backyard of the historical 18th & Vine District.
As an Academy, they are committed to providing a positive environment for our area youth. They will educate their players on what it means to be a "professional" while surrounding them with coaches, mentors, and role models who can teach them how to play the games of baseball and softball and serve as examples of good citizenship.
We can't wait to share with you what our awesome members are doing!
This exciting networking opportunity is designed to move throughout our region and showcase some of our most interesting members! We're planning to host these events bi-monthly and hope to have an event in your neighborhood soon!
These new events are open to ALL members and are purposefully designed to be smaller. Therefore, we hope they will be personal and impactful for attendees. Our goal is to make personal connections for everyone that attends.
Space is limited at each venue, so we expect these events to reach capacity quickly. Please be sure, when you see an event that interests you, not to hesitate in your RSVP.
