The University of Kansas is a major public research and teaching institution of 28,000 students and 2,600 faculty on five campuses, including Lawrence, Kansas City, Overland Park, Wichita and Salina. KU has 13 schools, including Kansas’ only schools of pharmacy and medicine, and houses more than 30 tenant companies in the university’s Bioscience & Technology Business Center.
